Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is a great emollient (moisturizer) if the barrier function of your skin is disturbed. It's great at repairing and restoring this quickly as it is rapidly absorbed into the epidermis. It also contains Vitamin E, essential amino acids, and lauric and caprylic acid which form part of the barrier function of your skin and help maintain your skin's natural flora. Coconut oil is mainly composed of saturated fats, which are amazing at repairing your skins natural barrier function and can also keep moisture in the skin by slowing down the evaporation.

Hyaluronic Acid: It’s a hydrating molecule, one that has the power to transform dry, chapped lips into something more supple and smooth. As a humectant, HA is able to absorb and hold water in the skin, contributing to hydration and therefore plumpness of lips. When HA is applied topically to lips, it helps to immediately improve the appearance of fine lines because of this humectant capability.
