Star Search Official Rules
How to Enter (Round 1):
Video Requirements: All you have to do to enter is create a video that best exemplifies your talent as a content creator by recreating one of Truly Beauty’s (@trulybeauty) TikTok-style videos while adding your creative twist.
Here are some guidelines:
1. You may use any skincare/beauty products you would like!
2. Your submission must not exceed one (1) minute.
Participation Requirements: Entries will only be accepted through posting on participants' social media channel. Email or DM to Truly Beauty with your video entry will not be accepted.
Submission Entry Process: During the Contest Period, take the following actions to receive an entry:
(1) Post your video on Instagram and/or TikTok and include #trulystar2021 and tag @trulybeauty in the caption.
(2) Your account settings must be public during the Contest Period
Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility: Truly Beauty Star Search (the “Competition”) is open to anyone worldwide who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.
Participation constitutes the entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Company’s decisions, which are full and binding in all matters related to the Competition. Winning the prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in.
2. Timing: The first round of the competition begins on December 31, 2020 at 12:00pm Pacific Time (“PST”) and ends on January 11, 2021 at 11:59pm PST (the “Competition Period”). Instagram and TikTok servers are the official time-keeping devices for the Competition.
3. Video Submission Content Restrictions:
● Entrant’s video must be his/her original work
● Entrant may not make any statement about a brand other than Company’s
● Submissions must not contain any content not created by entrant
● Submissions must not contain material that constitutes copyright infringement
● Submissions should not include copyrighted material (music). .
4. Entry limit: You may enter as many videos as you would like during the Contest Period but only one (1) is required.
5. Company’s Use of Social Post Content: Posting a video Submission constitutes entrant’s consent to give Sponsor a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, create derivative works from, and display such submissions in whole or in part, on a worldwide basis, and to incorporate it into other works, in any form, media or technology now known or later developed, including for promotional or marketing purposes.
6. Notification of Finalists: The ten (10) selected entrants will be notified through private messages on Instagram from @trulybeauty on or around January 13, 2020 and will be required to respond within twenty-four (24) hours providing the Company with their name, email address, home mailing address and date of birth to confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements. Failure to timely respond within the time frame required will result in disqualification from this Contest. Time permitting, Company will identify and notify alternate Finalists who earned the next highest score on their Submissions.
7. Final Round: The ten (10) selected entrants will then create a second video using products provided by Truly Beauty. Finalists will be given a week time frame to complete their second video after receiving gifted products.
8. Public Voting: After the finalists have sent in their second video to the Truly Beauty team, @trulybeauty will post each of the finalists video submissions on IGTV for the Truly Community to vote on. Individuals may vote for one or all of the Finalists by liking the applicable IGTV post.
9. Prize: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: An assortment of Truly Beauty products.
