Research shows certain essential oils may help prevent stretch marks and improve their appearance. Argan oil is one of them. A 2016 study found that argan oil helps increase skin’s elasticity, potentially preventing stretch marks.

3: Stay Hydrated

Drinking plenty of water may help keep your skin hydrated, smooth, and supple. Hydrated skin doesn’t develop stretch marks as much as dry skin does, which is why it’s essential to stay hydrated both inside and out.
